Vineyard Homestay in Central Europe
This is your perfect getaway from the busy cities and hectic work life! Spend a few days on a vineyard in central Europe – in a little hamlet on the border of Slovenia, Croatia & Hungary. Let the owner-vintner family take you around through their vineyards, taste some of their lovely wines, paried with some superb local cheeses and meals. For those looking for activities & sightseeing along with relaxation, there is plenty to do – with the Julian Alps within a few hours drive, or a day trip to Lake Balaton in Hungary. Alternatively take a short local hike, or pick up one of the bikes and go cycling through the charming countryside.

Which Visa Do I Need
Indian citizens require a Schengen visa to visit Slovenia (where the homestay is located) and Hungary. Croatia is not a participant in Schengen, however, with a multiple entry Schengen visa, you can enter CroatiaÂ
Length of Stay
We recommend at least 7 days for this itinerary. Budapest and Vienna are the closest big local airports and it is at least 3-4 hours drive to the homestay, so keep aside two days in traveling
Best time to visit
This is a year round destination – however, to make the best of the vineyards, we recommend visiting before the harvest season (before early October)
vineyard stay, winery tours & wine tasting, hiking, trekking, cycling, scenic drives, local organic produce
